Silhouette Press is a not-for-profit publisher that aims to improve access to the publishing industry.

We currently publish only poetry books and run creative projects, such as supporting the Disappear Here poetry films.

Founded in 2012 we started out working with individuals who had limited access or support to get involved with creative writing, specifically in our home city of Coventry.

We supported writers into publication, held the Fire & Dust open-mic night, published Here Comes Everyone magazine and ran workshops to create opportunities for volunteers to develop publishing industry skills and experience.

We operate between Coventry (City of Culture 2021) and London; cross-promoting our authors, projects and events between the two cities in order to embed and promote a sustainable creative culture in the West Midlands and offer wider opportunities for writers, readers and audiences.
